The new LUMIX G VARIO HD 14-140mm firmware v1.4 makes two changes, as compared to the previous v1.3 release from October 2010. Optical Image Stabilizer performance is said to have been improved during movie recording, and so is stability of the autofocus system for movie capture. Updates made in the previous v1.3, v1.2 and v1.1 releases, which reduced boot-up time, improved AF and stabilization performance during movie recording, and solved instability when used with the Olympus E-P1 camera body, have all been rolled into the new update.
