Fuji Japan delays FinePix 6800Z launch!

Porsche-designed 6800Z's release date slips back a week...
Our friends over at the digitalcamera.gr.jp website in Japan have noted on their news page that Fuji Japan has officially delayed the release of its FinePix 6800Z digital camera. An addendum added today to the official announcement (in blue text partway down the page) notes that the camera will now reach the Japanese market on Sunday, March 11th 2001. The FinePix 6800Z had originally been planned for a Sunday, March 4th launch. No reason for the delay is given...
The Fuji FinePix 6800 Zoom, first announced on February 1st 2001, is scheduled to ship in the US by the end of April, at a price of $899.
