Dave gets hands-on with the latest Digital ELPH from Canon...
We confess we were a bit surprised by this one: When Canon announced the S300 a little while back, we figured that would be the update to their popular minicam, the original S100. It appears thought, that Canon plans a full line of Digital ELPHs, because they've now introduced the model that's actually the S100 upgrade the S110. The new camera keeps the same 2.5x lens (vs the 3.0x zoom on the S300), but has added movie capability, as well as a minor ISO boost when shooting in low light. The biggest change in our opinion though, is that Canon has brought their significantly refined color management technology seen in their other 2001-model releases to the S110. Overall, a very nice little camera, for $100 less than the S300. Check the review for all the details!
