Steve Sanders provides the first full review of Fuji's 4800 Zoom digicam...

The Steve's Digicams website has posted an in-depth review of the Fuji FinePix 4800 Zoom digital camera, a 2.4 megapixel SuperCCD-equipped, 3x optical zoom digicam with Porsche-styled body and a docking cradle for image transfer and charging. Steve concludes:
"The FinePix 4800 Zoom is probably one of the best of the 'pocket size' cameras as of the time of this review. It uses Fujifilm's proven 2.4-megapixel SuperCCD imager and produces some of the truest colors we've ever seen from any consumer digicam.

I do believe that the 4800 Zoom is priced a little bit too high considering it lacks the shutter-speed priority, aperture priority and full manual exposure modes found in the other 3-megapixel cameras in its price range. It is a very sturdy and well designed camera that will serve you well, especially if what you want is an easy to use camera that delivers excellent images."
For more on this, read Steve's full review, accompanied by numerous sample images and a look at the camera's design and layout. You can also find an overview of the FinePix 4800 from the folks at LetsGoDigital.nl.
