Electric Fish releases its PhotoGrid printing app for public testing...

An email from Electric Fish Inc. tells us that the company has released a new Macintosh photo-printing application, for public testing. Tentatively called 'PhotoGrid', the software works on MacOS 8.6 or later, and runs as a native Mac OS X application.

PhotoGrid can be downloaded from Electric Fish's website, and is a 1.9MB Stuffit compressed file. A Power Macintosh with 32MB of RAM, MacOS 8.6+, CarbonLib 1.2+ and QuickTime 4.0+ is required to run the program, and bugs should be reported following the procedure outlined on the download page. The company is also seeking dealer inquiries on +1 505 474 3194.

PhotoGrid prerelease

Electric Fish is pleased to announce that PhotoGrid is now available for public testing. PhotoGrid, the easiest way to print digital photos, will be published later this year by Voyager. PhotoGrid runs under Mac OS 8.6 or later, and is native for OS X.

PhotoGrid features drag and drop importing of your digital photos, with fast and simple choices of layouts to help optimize your use of photo paper, and various ways of labelling your images.

Intuitive and powerful cropping tools and arbitrary rotation of images make PhotoGrid a joy to use. With helpful functions like renaming cryptic files, creating previews, and making Finder icons, PhotoGrid is the perfect addition to the digital hub.

PhotoGrid can be downloaded from Electric Fish's web site at http://www.electricfish.com/photogrid/. Voyager's web site is at http://www.streamrocket.com/. Dealer inquiries should call 505-474-3194.
