"Fujifilm has recognized that one of the largest areas for growth potential is the entry-level consumer category that is seeking affordable, user-friendly cameras that produce outstanding color photos."
"The digital camera market continues to grow dramatically this year, with most of the growth coming from mainstream consumers spending in the $100-$300 range, and by the end of the year, approximately 18 percent of U.S. households are expected to have a digital camera," said Michelle Slaughter, Market Research Analyst, InfoTrends Research Group. "Manufacturers recognize that this is the year to make a lasting impression on this group of first-time purchasers. The widespread availability of high-quality, less expensive digital camera models will help to support digital photography's steady integration into mainstream culture."
