Pentax 645D Optics

The Pentax 645D is sold body-only, so no "kit" lens results here. We do however have viewfinder coverage results below.

Viewfinder Test Results

Coverage
Very good accuracy from the optical viewfinder.

75mm, Optical

The Pentax 645D's optical viewfinder showed about 98% coverage in our test, matching the specification. This is very good performance considering the size of the sensor. The 645D does not support Live View mode, so its LCD monitor cannot be used to preview images.
