Pentax Optio E70 Overview
The Pentax E70 is a ten megapixel digital camera with a 3x optical zoom lens. The Pentax Optio E70 is an entry-level model with 2.4" LCD display, offers a zoom range from a not-so-generous 32mm wide angle to a 96mm telephoto, and is compatible with standard AA batteries.
The Pentax E70 camera includes face recognition that can identify 32 faces in a scene within 0.03 seconds, plus what Pentax calls "Pixel Track" shake reduction, and there's also blink detection and smile capture functions. The E70 also features a digital panorama mode, which automatically stitches a series of photos into one wide 180-degree image. The Optio E70 uses SD/SDHC media for storage, and includes about 35MB of internal memory.
Pentax Optio E70 Pricing and Availability
The Pentax Optio E70 lists for US$139.95, and will ship from February 2009. The Pentax E70 will be available in champagne gold, deep blue and red.
