The General Electric E1030 offers ten megapixel resolution, a wide aspect-ratio 2.7" 230,400 pixel LCD display, and a fairly typical 35 - 105mm equivalent 3x optical zoom lens.
Other E1030 features include in-camera panoramic stitching, red-eye removal, 9-point AF with face-tracking, 30 frames-per-second VGA MPEG4 movie mode and SDHC compatibility (up to 4GB). E1030 exposure modes include Auto and Macro, plus 12 scene modes including Sport, Kids & Pets, Party/Indoor, Foliage, Snow, Beach, Fireworks, Aquarium, Portrait, Night Portrait, Landscape and Anti-Handshake.
The GE E1030 uses a proprietary Lithium Ion battery, offers USB and NTSC / PAL video connectivity, and includes both 26MB of built-in memory and an SD / MMC card slot.
Pricing and availability of the GE E1030 have not been announced at this time. The E1030 will be offered in black, red, blue, white and silver finishes.
