Sony RX100 High ISO Noise Reduction
The Sony RX100 offers three high ISO noise reduction settings: Low, Normal and High, with Normal being the default. Sony didn't say at what ISO noise reduction kicks in, so we've included crops starting from the lowest ISO.
See for yourself how the three levels of noise reduction works under daylight-balanced lighting. Click on any of the crops below to see the corresponding full-sized image.

It appears that the Sony RX100 already applies "High ISO" noise reduction at the lowest ISO, as there are differences in noise between the three settings starting at ISO 80. That's not unusual, though, especially for a compact camera.
