Detailed Hands-On Preview posted for Canon Rebel T1i!
Canon broadens its consumer digital SLR line with the introduction of the EOS Rebel T1i, a 15.1-megapixel digital SLR camera that also records HD movies. Though the Canon Rebel T1i looks just like the XSi, it has the image quality of the Canon EOS 50D, and the HD movie mode of the EOS 5D Mark II. Other features from these higher-end cameras have also been brought over to the Rebel T1i, including Live Face detect mode, Creative Auto mode, and two expanded ISO settings: 6,400 and 12,800. We've run a Beta (prototype) Rebel T1i through the Imaging Resource Lab, and the results are telling. Is the Rebel T1i a hobbled version of the 50D, or does it outperform its higher-priced sibling? Click here for our Hands-On Preview of the Canon EOS Rebel T1i to find out.

Review posted for Fujifilm FinePix F60fd!
Face detection is not new, but Fujifilm has gone to great lengths to improve the technology in the FinePix F60fd, including the ability to detect faces that are facing to the left or right, or even oriented upside down. The Fujifilm F60fd wraps a 12-megapixel sensor in a pocket-size package with a 3x zoom, 3-inch LCD, and a sensor-shift image stabilization system. Datacolor Spyder3Print!
Can a spectrocolorimeter build good printer profiles? The short answer is, "Yes!" But read our review for the fine print. We struggled to build a useable printer profile until we got a little help and were finally able to build one. Was the problem what we were doing or the technology? Make your own call after reading our Datacolor Spyder3Print review.

Think Tank Photo Pixel Sunscreen!
What do you do when you've got to use your laptop outdoors and the sky is too bright to see the screen? Think Tank Photo's solution is the Pixel Sunscreen. Using a laptop outdoors can be a challenge. Daylight, even on an overcast day washes out the screen, making it difficult to read menus, let alone improve an image captured in the field. The Pixel Sunscreen is a portable darkroom designed just for your laptop. No one complained about Version One, but Think Tank Photo couldn't resist making a few improvements and sent us Version Two to test. We took it out one day to see if it really could make our antique LCD panel useful outdoors. It did. But what really surprised us was how well Think Tank Photo had anticipated our needs. Read our Pixel Sunscreen review to see what we mean.
