As CES 2012 gets ready to roll, we've scheduled two Live Q&A sessions tonight that will let readers put their thoughts and questions to the manufacturers directly, on a couple of the most exciting digital cameras announced thus far. (Update: The Q&As are both now over, but you can read the archived sessions in our Canon G1 X preview and Nikon D4 preview pages.)

If you have a question you'd like answered on the Canon G1 X or Nikon D4, now's your chance, so don't wait! We're expecting both sessions to be busy, and we're accepting submissions right now via our Twitter feed. To submit a question about the Canon G1 X, tweet @ir_lab and mention "G1X" in the body of the message. Or if you prefer, ask a question about the Nikon D4, by tweeting @ir_lab and mentioning "D4" in the message text. (Heck, ask questions about both cameras, if you like!) ;-)

Not sure if you want to make the D4 jump? Want to ask about Nikon's vision for the product? Join us at 4:45 PM PST! (That's 7:45PM Eastern time; click here to convert for other time zones.)

We'll be following that up with a Live Q&A session at 6:15 PM PST, January 9th to talk about the just-announced Canon G1 X with Chuck Westfall, Technical Advisor with the Professional Engineering & Solutions Division at Canon U.S.A., Inc. Excited by the possibilities of Canon's first large-sensor fixed-lens camera? Got a question left unanswered after reading our preview? Join us for the live session at 6:15 PM PST!  (That's 9:15PM Eastern time; click here to convert for other time zones.)

Also, note that we're conducting more traditional interviews with Nikon on Wednesday, as well as interviews with Fuji, Samsung, Sigma, Sony, Panasonic, Pentax and Olympus. @ message IR_Lab any questions you have for these manufacturers. Although these sessions will be transcribed shortly afterwards, rather than being conducted live, they still represent a great opportunity to get your questions answered!
