Pentax released the 18-135mm f/3.5-5.6 ED AL [IF] DC SMC DA WR in November of 2010 as a companion lens for the then K-5 and now K-5 II body: offering water resistance (the new "WR" monicker), a new DC ("direct current") motor and a longer reach than its previous kit lens, we've put this lens through its paces in our test lab.
