IR founder Dave Etchells and Managing Editor Roger Slavens are in New York at the PDN PhotoPlus Expo, and they've captured a video of the brand-new Nikon V2 mirrorless camera in action.

Beyond its radical new styling, the Nikon V2 sports quite a few other changes from the earlier V1 model. There's a new control layout with a clever pushable command input dial, and a built-in, popup flash strobe that replaces the optional, proprietary strobe from the earlier camera. There's also a Best Moment Capture function with a clever Slow View setting that buffers up to 40 frames over a 1.3-second period, then plays them back at a reduced rate to help you trip the shutter at the best possible moment.

All of these and much more can be seen in a walkthrough with Steve Heiner, Senior Technical Manager at Nikon. Watch the video below to get some insight into the Nikon V2, then read our hands-on preview for the full story!
