NASA satellite photo shows giant, ferocious winter storm hitting the East Coast

Gulp! That was our reaction when we saw this satellite image from NASA of the huge winter storm that's in the midst of walloping the mid-Atlantic region of the United States.

The photo was shot today by NOAA's GOES-13 satellite. The GOES-13 is the same satellite that captured this terrifying image of Hurricane Sandy battering the East Coast last October.
