With the PhotoPlus Expo in New York now underway, software company Unified Color is demonstrating an upcoming tweak to its flagship HDR Expose high-dynamic range imaging app on the show floor. The new Pano Prep Batch Processing feature resolves problems with inconsistent tone mapping across multiple frames of a panoramic image by batch-processing each HDR image set for the pano with the same tone map. The result is an output that can be seamlessly merged to create a panoramic image with greater dynamic range than can be managed in a single exposure.

Didn't get a chance to attend PhotoPlus and see the update in person? You can look forward to its arrival soon in the final release of HDR Expose 3.1.The update will be free of charge for existing HDR Expose 3 owners.
