Instagram announces most popular spots for 2013

As they did last year, Instagram has taken some time at the end of 2013 to dig up which spots around the world are "the most Instagrammed". For both specific locations, and cities in general, Instagram has pulled together a list of the top 10 of each, showing where all the cool kids are posting images from.

- Siam Paragon (สยามพารากอน) shopping mall, Bangkok, Thailand
- Times Square, New York
- Disneyland, California
- Bellagio Fountains, Las Vegas
- Disney World Florida
- Staples Center, Los Angeles
- Central Park, New York
- Dodger Stadium, Los Angeles
- Suvarnabhumi Airport (BKK) ท่าอากาศยานสุวรรณภูมิ, Bangkok, Thailand
- The High Line, New York
Most of these aren't particularly surprising: a strong contingent of tourist hotspots and large stadiums. What is interesting is the strong showing from Thailand, but of a huge mall and an airport. There's a lot of crossover between year's list and the 2012 version, which featured both of those Bangkok spots prominantly. But who knows, maybe come next year, there will be an upset, and some other super popular spot will win out.
