Samsung just announced the NX30, a new flagship for its NX-series of mirrorless compact system cameras. Like previous top-of-the-line NX-series models, the Samsung NX30 is styled like a small SLR. It also sports an improved version of the 20.3-megapixel APS-C format CMOS sensor seen on several previous NX models.

But much else is new on the NX30. Highlights include a high resolution pull-out, tiltable electronic viewfinder, the improved hybrid autofocus system that debuted on the NX300, a completely redesigned grip, a 3.5mm jack for external microphones, and Samsung's latest image sharing and internet connectivity features.

We've spent some time trying out the latest NX-series flagship, so for the full story read our hands-on preview. (And watch out for more hands-on thoughts, coming shortly!) As for pricing and availability of the NX30, Samsung has yet to make any statement. As soon as this information is available, you can expect to hear about it on our news page, and in our Samsung NX30 preview!
