Are you considering getting into commercial photography, or just curious to learn more about what goes into a commercial photo shoot? Either way, you'll find this article by Chinese-Singaporean professional photographer Zhang Jingna -- better known as zemotion -- to be enlightening.

Zhang's beautiful photos have helped her build up quite a following on social media. They've also graced the covers of magazines including Harper's Bazaar and Elle, and helped to promote products from the likes of Canon, Lancôme, Mercedes Benz and Sony. In other words, she has more than enough experience to know the ins and outs of commercial photography despite being just 25 years old.

In an excellent blog post for lighting company Profoto, Zhang walks readers through the entire process, from first receiving a request for a quotation thru to post production and invoicing. Along the way, you get pointers on everything from presenting your concept to the client, casting models, and gathering the equipment and team you'll need, to setting up for the big shoot and turning the concept into a reality. It's an extremely detailed insight into the world of a commercial photographer, and we have to say, a very interesting read as well.

Hop on over to the Profoto blog to read Zhang's article, and don't be shy to ask questions in the comment thread -- as you'll see, she's already answered more than a few. When you're done, be sure to visit Zhang's personal website, as well as her pages on Facebook, Instagram, Tumblr and Twitter for more of her great imagery.
