Double-exposures are nothing new in the world of photography. But Lomography alum Adam Scott is looking to turn the concept on its head with an app that turns double exposure photography into a social experience.

The app is called Dubble and its premise revolves around the idea of snapping one half of a double exposure and letting someone else in the world complete it.

In briefly taking the app for a spin, the experience is charming, often resulting in beautiful, albeit unexpected images. It’s a wonder how this concept had never been thought of before, but kudos to Scott for bringing it together in a wonderful app.

Dubble is available for free in the iOS App Store. Be sure to take it for a spin! Let us know your thoughts in the comments below.
