(UPDATE, 01/14/2014 -- It appears the video have been removed or set to "private" by the owners.)

There are no shortage of videos that capture the death of drones as seen on-board. But of all the drone death clips we’ve seen, this is by far one of the most interesting ones.

In the below videos, we witness James and Mira Raley of The Honey Badger send their DJI Phantom quadcopter over a small pride of lions. Intrigued by the contraption that was buzzing over head just a few seconds ago, the lions make the most of the opportunity and ensure the intruder was thoroughly disabled.

The drone itself was ripped to shreds by the lions. Thankfully, the GoPro attached somehow survived, giving us an inside look at what it’s like to be chomped on by a lion for over seven minutes.

The first video is a shortened, 13-second clip of the video. The second video is the full version, which includes every chomp the lions had at the Phantom.
