Most of you know the trend by now: Smaller and smaller bodies with attractive pricetags that still house large image-capturing sensors inside. The Samsung NX3000 and its current street price of somewhere between ~$370 and $410 (depending on the kit lens you want) is certainly one of the players helping to blaze this path.

Recently honored in our 2014 Camera of the Year awards in both the entry-level mirrorless and budget-friendly categories, the diminuitive and sveldt NX3000 certainly caught our eye here in the halls of IR. For another perspective we sent it to reviewer Jason Schneider who was vacationing with family in Myrtle Beach, SC, for a spin out in the real world. His Shooter's Report is now available, including new gallery images, video, and his seasoned take on just how much you can expect for the money from the attractively-priced NX3000.
