Yesterday, Lowepro announced Echelon, a new, limited-edition lineup of luxury camera bags. Sleek in design and constructed of premium materials, the Echelon lineup marks Lowepro’s first endeavor into the high-end bag market.

The Echelon lineup is offered as a three-piece collection and consists of a roller for gear-heavy photographers, an attaché for those carrying less gear and a briefcase for a laptop and accessories.

For materials, the Echelon lineup doesn’t skimp on tossing in all the protection and bells-and-whistles you can think of. All three bags are made with custom-cast metal hardware, 840 denier black nylon, saddle-stitched leather handles, TSA-approved locking zippers and a removable all-weather cover.

The main roller is capable of storing two pro-body DSLRs, 6–8 lenses, lighting equipment, accessories and a 15” laptop. The smaller attaché can carry one pro-body DSLR, 2–3 lenses, a speed light, accessories and laptops up to 13”. Lastly, the briefcase is capable of carrying a 15” laptop, a tablet, hard-drives and additional accessories.

If you’re looking to invest in the Echelon lineup, you can do so individually or as a set. À la carte, the roller, attaché and briefcase will set you back $800, $420, and $340, respectively. As a complete set, the Echelon lineup costs $1,300, a savings of $260 when compared to purchasing the bags individually. Shipping is free for all Echelon orders.

You can make your purchase or take a closer look over on Lowepro’s store.
