In an effort to show off the impressive video capabilities of its consumer and prosumer camera lineup, Canon has announced Video Creator Kits for its Canon EOS T6I, T5i and 70D cameras -- essentially starter bundles for creatives looking to get into HDDSLR video.

The kits come in four variations: two for the Canon EOS 70D and one a piece for the EOS Rebel T6i and T5i. The two Rebel kits include a Canon EF-S 18–55mm f/3.5–5.6 IS STM, RØDE VideoMic GO On-Camera Shotgun Microphone, and a Class 10 Sandisk 32GB SDHC memory card.

The first Canon EOS 70D kit includes a Canon EF-S 18–135mm f/3.5–5.6 IS STM lens, RØDE VideoMic GO On-Camera Shotgun Microphone, and a Class 10 Sandisk 32GB SDHC memory card. The second option offers a Canon EF 70–300mm f/4–5.6 IS USM lens in addition to the above products.

Purchased a la carte, the products in the Rebel bundles would set you back roughly US$350; when bundled with the T6i and T5i you’re only shelling out only US$250 for the additional products, a savings of US$100. Interestingly, the 70D bundles don’t save you any money, but they do save you the hassle of purchasing the products individually.

The bundles are currently available for pre-order at B&H and Adorama, and are set to ship in August 2015. Below are the bundles available at their respective retailers:
