Canon Australia has published a video wherein six portrait photographers each take a portrait of the same man, Michael. Each photographer was told a dramatically different story about Michael, which leads to interesting and varied results.

The video is part of a new video series by Canon called "The Lab" which is designed to "shift creative thinking behind the lens." This video shows that Canon certainly succeeds with that as we can see each photographer take the information given to them about their subject and make on-the-fly adjustments to represent their own unique vision with only ten minutes and using the gear provided.

The six stories potray Michael as very different people, including an ex-inmate, self-made millionaire, and even a psychic. It is interesting to see how each photographer changes their approach to the session armed with the false information about Michael. Check out the video below to see the different character's Michael plays and the portraits the photographers captured!

For our Australian readers, if you'd like to take part in future The Lab experiments with Canon, see here for more information.
