In late October, Marco Grob photographed the actors from the new Star Wars film, Star Wars The Force Awakens for TIME Magazine.

Grob photographed the main The Force Awakens actors, including veterans Harrison Ford, Carrie Fisher, and Mark Hamill from the original Star Wars trilogy and newcomers Daisy Ridley and John Boyega, seen below.

In addition to photographing the human actors from the film, Grob captured portraits of R2D2 and the new, lovable BB-8. Of R2D2, Grob said, "You get almost star-struck when you meet R2-D2. It's incredible when you see it getting unwrapped. It was certainly one for the books. Something I'll never forget." Grob also felt a special connection to BB-8, "The moment you meet BB-8, you build up some form of weird human connection. It has one eye that has this really cute way of looking at you. It's just incredible."

The Force Awakens hits theatres on December 17th and the TIME Magazine issue hits shelves on December 14th with one of two covers, R2D2 or BB-8.
