The weekend is here once more, and so too is your weekly roundup of all the latest firmware news for your digital camera. This week, we have news to report from two manufacturers, albeit only one of them with a presence in the US market. Both Casio and Fujifilm have released updates improving two of their latest digital cameras.

Fujifilm X-Pro2

We'll start with the Fuji X-Pro2, since it's the more widely-available of the pair. Here, there are two changes described in the release notes for firmware version 1.01. Long-exposure images should now provide better image quality than in the previous firmware version. Also, a bug which could occasionally cause custom menu settings to be lost and replaced with the factory defaults is said to have been corrected. You can download Fuji X-Pro2 firmware version 1.01 update here.

Casio EX-FR100

For the unusual Casio EX-FR100, which separates the camera and display into separate Bluetooth-connected units, the new firmware version 1.10 release makes just one change. It is now possible to replace the display unit with a Casio WSD-F10 smartwatch, using the watch's display to view the live view feed and capture images. If you own a WSD-F10 smartwatch and want to use this functionality, you can download the Casio EX-FR100 firmware version 1.10 update here.
