Phase One has updated their popular open-platform imaging software Capture One Pro 9 to version 9.2. The software, which offers tethered capture, raw image conversion and extensive image editing tools, is considered integral to many professional's and enthusiast's workflows.

Capture One Pro 9.2 includes new camera support for the Pentax K-1, Nikon D500, Canon EOS M10, Canon G5X, Canon G7X II and Canon G9X. To see the full list of cameras and lenses that are now supported in 9.2, click here.

Beyond the support for new cameras, the version 9.2 includes numerous updates and improvements. There's a focus on accelerated workflow, including better asset accessibility and a new rate and cull workflow when using "Select Set." There is also a new Shortcut Engine now available, which allows for additional functions, such as cursor tools, to be mapped to keyboard shortcuts.

In addition to the workflow improvements, there is a new color management module for .tiff files, and Phase One XF users have access to faster focus stacking tools.

Capture One Pro 9.2 is available as a free update to all Capture One Pro 9 users. If you're not yet a Capture One Pro 9 user, you can download a free trial here. Users of Capture One Pro 7 or 8 can upgrade to 9 for $99, whereas it costs $299 for new users. You can also use Capture One Pro 9 through a subscription, which costs $15 a month per year.
