Photographer and Hasselblad Chief of Strategy Ming Thein recently worked with Swedish supercar manufacturer Koenigsegg to capture stunning, unique images of supercars. Thein and his team used high speed sync and flash with the flagship Hasselblad H6D-100C and a DJI M600.

Thein wrote about the experience here and shared some very interesting details. The shoot was very complex, requiring careful use of lights and very precise camera settings. Dealing with artificial and ambient light simultaneously is difficult, juggling those two while also having to focus and shoot on a moving vehicle threw yet another complexity into the equation.

Ultimately, after three days of shooting, the final number of images was only nine. That is not a lot, but it demonstrates the level of careful precision which goes into high-end commercial photography. Go behind the scenes with Thein below.
