Nikon recently introduced the new Nikon 10-20mm f/4.5-5.6G VR AF-P DX lens, which joins their existing 10-24mm DX lens in this category. This new 10-20mm lens may have a bit less speed and reach than its 10-24mm sibling, but it is also more compact, lighter and very affordable. The new 10-20mm AF-P DX lens is priced at just over US$300, which certainly won't break the bank.
We recently had the chance to use the new zoom lens in the real world. The lens impressed with its blend of performance, portability and value. While the optical quality is not without fault, the lens captures nice images and provides good real-world performance, particularly with regard to its fast, quiet AF-P autofocus.
