Large-format landscape photographer Ben Horne has been sharing videos of his time in Zion for the last month or so. Since the last time we featured one of Horne's videos, he's release a pair of videos, which are shown below.

What makes Horne's work particularly interesting, beyond his great photographic eye, is that he uses a large-format film camera. This is distinct in the modern age as most photographers have long since switched to digital. While digital photography is excellent, there's something special about Horne's approach as it's very hands-on, deliberate and requires a level of precision you don't necessarily need when shooting digital. That's not to say that digital photography doesn't come with its own unique set of challenges, but for a landscape and nature photographer like Horne in particular, his workflow requires carrying very large, heavy equipment and a lot of film. And of course the work has only just begun when he captures an image, he then has to properly develop and process the film.

Sit back and enjoy the pair of videos below from Ben Horne as he continues to work hard to find the perfect composition in Zion.
