5 ways to make your colors pop using Adobe Photoshop

Nathaniel Dodson of tutvid has published a new tutorial, his first of 2018, to show us five ways to make colors pop in Photoshop.

The first way to make your colors more vibrant in Photoshop is to utilize LAB color. To enable LAB color, you need to go to "Image" and then "Mode" to access LAB color. When enhancing color in LAB, you can adjust different color channels, including "lightness." To see how to work with LAB color and curves, watch the video below.

Another way to make colors pop is to utilize Adobe's Camera Raw Filter. ACR includes hue/saturation/luminance sliders for individual colors and is a great way to adjust and enhance your colors. There is a great trick available by using the right click function and then clicking on an area of the image you want to enhance and sliding your cursor up while clicking.
