We've waited until the dying embers of the day, but this week, Firmware Friday is nevertheless an exceptionally brief affair. In fact, there's not even a single firmware launch in the mix, with the sole piece of news being on the software front. (We call it Firmware Friday, but we don't discriminate against software updates when we find them!)

So what's the news this week? If you're a Fuji shooter, you can now get your hands on the latest version of the company's Silkypix-based Raw File Converter EX 2.0 application, version 4.2.11.1. And what's new in the update? The only changes Fuji mentions are new support for the Fujifilm X-A5 and X-A20 cameras, but companies sometimes quietly slip in some bug fixes when issuing updates like these, so if there are any problems you're experiencing, you may want to try updating regardless. (If you have no problems, though, then it's probably best left alone.)

And that's all for this week. Be sure to check back next time for more Firmware Friday news!
