9 out of 10 points and recommended
lens speed, sharpness and autofocus speed
    weight and cost

I take a lot of photos of amateur ice hockey games, sometimes in poorly lit buildings. This lens was the answer to my problems. The lens fast enough and sharp enough to be able to shoot in “natural” light in those buildings and get great results.

The only downside to this lens is its weight and cost. My solution for the weight problem is to use a mono pod as often as possible. The cost is just a function of the speed and build quality of the lens, both of which are excellent.
