    Sharp, small, lightweight, fast & quiet AF
    Heavy distortion when shooting RAW

    This is a great little lens for a7 series. It's easy to carry anywhere and small enough that it won't attract attention. It's sharp enough for everyday use, and even for professional use.

    The distortion is very heavy, fortunately it's easy to correct.

    All in all, great lens if you want to carry only one lens and shooting around the street.

  • Konica Minolta 300mm f/4 APO G AF

    Super sharp, no distortion, high contrast
    Quite heavy, 2.5m closest focusing is not close enough by today standard, the hood is too big and takes time to put on

    This is a super sharp lens from edge to edge. AF is fast enough, but noisy (screw driven). One of the best lenses that i've ever owned.

  • Konica Minolta 85mm f/1.4 G D AF

    Sharp even wide open, lightweight, wonderful bokeh

    A legendary lens made by Minolta. I own the 1st generation, but from my understanding it has the same optics as this one. It's so great, it makes GM lens not that interesting for me (I use is on a7rii using LA-EA4). The only problem is I can't use Eye AF on the a7rii.
    The all-metal construction ensure this lens will last for a very long time.

  • Sony 85mm f/2.8 SAM SAL85F28

    Seriously sharp lens, awesome bokeh, close focusing for 85mm lens, cheap.
    Built like a toy, it will break if I sit on it on a couch. Hard to find, at least where I live. A metal mount would be nice.

    The lens is so underrated, Sony probably didn't sell enough of it, so they don't make a lot of it. I ended up purchasing a store display in Santa Barbara after months searching for this lens (has more than usual dust in it but they insist to sell it as a new lens. What a douche.) The lens itself performs great. I have not encounter any problem as some other do. An easily highly recommended from me.
