PRESS RELEASE: Kodak Offers More at Home Picture Printing Choices

Kodak Introduces 4" x 6" Snapshot Size Papers and Anytime Picture Paper

COLOGNE, Germany, September 24 -- Eastman Kodak Company today announced the availability of two new inkjet paper options. Kodak's new 4"x 6" papers and the 8 x 11" Anytime Picture Paper enhance the company's full line of inkjet papers, offering consumers the widest choice of papers for every printing occasion. Kodak is the preferred inkjet photo paper brand in the U.S.*, and its inkjet papers offer outstanding picture quality when used with any consumer inkjet printer. With Kodak inkjet photo papers, people can make prints that look and feel like traditional photographs from their digital still camera, Picture CD or any other high-resolution digital source.

New 4" x 6" Format Means No Perforation
The 4" x 6" inkjet paper is just the right size for snapshots. The new papers duplicate the customary retail photo experience by delivering quality prints in their own handy photo envelope. Similar to a photo-finishing return envelope, it will ensure easier sharing and keep pictures protected.

"Kodak's name is synonymous with printing memories and with the introduction of our convenient snapshot size 4" x 6" papers, consumers can easily print, display and share their memories on Kodak-quality paper right at home," said Nicki Zongrone, General Manager & Vice President, Inkjet Media, Digital & Applied Imaging.

The 4" x 6" size comes in three paper grades:

Kodak Ultima Picture Paper provides stunning quality with the look and feel of a professional print. Available in a high-gloss finish, this photo paper is heavyweight, long lasting, and ideal for showcasing and sharing consumers' most treasured memories. Kodak Premium Picture Paper delivers the vibrant color and details consumers expect from traditional photo prints. Available in a high-gloss finish, the high-quality, snapshot-size images are ideal for photo albums. The 4" x 6" Kodak Premium Picture Paper is available in a 75 sheet-package with a suggested retail price of $19.99.

Kodak Picture Paper is the easy loading, double-sided inkjet photo paper that provides great looking prints every time. Available in a soft-gloss finish, this paper allows consumers to print their snapshots at home on either side of the sheet. The 4" x 6" Kodak Picture Paper is available in a 20 sheet-package with a suggested retail price of $5.99.

Kodak Anytime Picture Paper
Kodak's 8 1/2" x 11" Anytime Picture Paper is designed for fun, quick, picture printing, and is fast drying so good-looking Kodak-quality prints can be shared right away. Kodak Anytime Picture Paper is perfect for consumers who like to print a lot of photos or those who are just beginning to explore the benefits of printing digital pictures at home. Anytime Picture Paper is also ideal for arts and crafts projects, because it allows for low-cost multiple printing. Anytime Picture Paper comes with a soft-gloss finish and is available in packs of 20 sheets at a suggested retail price of $5.99.

The Kodak inkjet portfolio offers consumers a wide range of choices, from high-quality photo papers to everyday picture papers as well as a variety of weights, finishes and sizes to help consumers choose the right paper for every printing occasion.
