miniphotokina-logo.jpg Lensbaby Composer -- Selective Focus Gets Hip

Earlier today, Lensbaby announced its re-engineered selective focus lens system. A new ball-joint model named the Composer joins the Control Freak, an updated 3G, and the Muse, an updated Lensbaby 2.0.

Like the Composer the updated versions of the earlier generation Lensbabies now feature interchangeable optics. The three 50mm optics range from double coated glass to single coated to plastic. They're joined by a pinhole/zone plate optic.

So you can not only control what's in focus, but you can select the kind of blur you want, too.

We've been working with a prototype of the Composer as part of our miniphotokina review series and have just posted our review complete with a gallery of images. See for yourself!
