Back on February 13, we reported on the 17 winners of the Digital Imaging Marketing Association's 'Innovative Digital Product Awards' at the Photo Marketing Association show in Orlando... Nikon, which received two awards, has now distributed a press release acknowledging them. The company's awards were for the Super CoolScan 8000 film scanner, and the Nikon D1X professional digital camera.

According to DIMA, "[criteria] to win an Innovative Digital Product Award included innovative use of new technologies and/or applications in a way that makes the products either unique or the first of their kind."
