Canon Inc. has today announced its new ultra-compact PowerShot A100 digital camera. An entry level unit with 1.2 megapixel imager and 39mm fixed focal length lens, the A100 has some features not often seen at this level - such as multi-point autofocus, user-selectable ISO ratings from 64 to 400, and a relatively speedy 2.5 frames-per-second burst-mode at full resolution.
