With the usual large and impressive presentation, Canon's booth is filled with things to do. There's a portrait photography presentation, a rack of 20D's with huge, white Canon lenses mounted on swivel-arms for passers-by to try the combo out on unsuspecting victims yards away.

The key product featured was of course the Rebel XT. With an 8 megapixel sensor, a new, smaller body, and a 14 frame buffer, the XT does impress. Though we saw the XT earlier, that didn't include the BG-E3 battery grip we saw at the booth. We were impressed by how light the combination is, due to both the smaller size of the XT and the smaller batteries used in the grip.

Taking up the small end of the ELPH line, the SD200 and SD300 were joined by the new SD400 and SD500. The SD400 is a 5 megapixel camera with a 3x zoom and a 2.0 inch LCD viewfinder that will retail for $399.99. The SD500 looks a little different, with an arc jutting out on the right side of the camera, but it also has a 2.0 inch LCD and a 3x zoom. The big news is the SD500's 7 megapixel sensor. Both cameras offer a one minute clip of 320 x 240 at 60 frames per second and 640 x 480 at 30fps for as much as the card will hold. Both will ship in March.

Finally, the ever-popular A75 has been replaced by the A510, which offers a smaller size due to the use of only two AA batteries. The rest of the specs are similar to the A75, with a 3.2 megapixel imager and a 1.8 inch LCD, only they've added a 4x optical zoom instead of the predecessor's 3x zoom. It's already available for $199.99. The A85 was also replaced by the A520, with a very similar look and nearly identical specs, including the use of only two AA batteries. Its 4.0 megapixel imager raises the price $100 to $299.

See below for booth images and photographs of all the cameras.
