PRESS RELEASE: Rimage's Disc Publishing Technology Integrated into New HP Photosmart Studio

New retail solution to provide customers vivid digital photos in seconds

Minneapolis — February 27, 2006 — Rimage Corporation (Nasdaq: RIMG) today announced that its disc publishing technology has been integrated into the new HP Photosmart Studio – the first in-store solution where consumers can design creative products in about five minutes and pick up their product in one hour or less.

Rimage's CD/DVD publishing technology for high-quality, customized photo CD creation will be used in the HP Photosmart Studio to enable customers to burn digital photos from a memory card to a CD, as well as to personalize each disc by selecting an image for direct printing onto the top side of the inkjet-coated CD.

"We have a long-term relationship with HP and are excited to provide the disc publishing engine behind the HP Photosmart Studio," said Manny Almeida, Chief Operating Officer for Rimage.

Rimage's versatile CD/DVD image burning and direct CD printing systems deliver unrivaled quality, incorporating HP's licensed inkjet technology to create photo realistic images on every inkjet-coated CD label. This high-volume system enables the HP Photosmart Studio to process orders quickly and efficiently.

The HP Photosmart Studio is the first in-store solution on the market developed to help consumers transform their large number of digital photos into ready-to-share albums, calendars, greeting cards and posters in less than an hour -- while they shop.
