Digital Outback hits their 500,000th visitor!

Its time to pop the champagne corks for our outdoor digital photographer friends...
It seems like only yesterday (actually, it was about six months ago!) that we were congratulating our friends at Digital Outback Photo for surpassing their 250,000th visitor - and now Uwe Steinmueller and the team have hit another milestone. Uwe emailed yesterday to let us know that he's just passed his 500,000 visitor - a pretty significant "birthday" for the site!
In the three years since we congratulated our friends at Steve's Digicams on their 500,000th visitor the site has soared to the point where it won't be long before he surpasses his 40 millionth visitor. Digital Outback Photo launched in October 2000, making the site a little under half as old as Steve's is now - so by our math (and with a little luck!) we should hopefully be congratulating Digital Outback Photo on 40 miilion visitors too in about another three or four years time... :)
Our wholehearted congratulations to Uwe and his wife Bettina, along with the other contributors at Digital Outback - J�rg Raasch, Michael Reichmann, Ron Reznick, Bj�rn R�rslett and Dr. Ellen Rudolph. Over the last couple of years you've shared some great photos with the digital community, along with some very useful photo techniques... May your next 500,000 visitors come along twice as quickly!
