Dutch website looks at 2 megapixel digicam with its unusual 3D image mode...

Our friends at the LetsGoDigital.nl website in Holland have posted a "first impression" item based on a hands-on with Pentax's Optio 230, a 2 megapixel camera with 3x optical zoom lens that was first announced last February at the PMA show in Orlando, Florida. The Optio 230 features an unusual 3d mode which allows you to take two separate images that can later be examined with a viewer for a 3D effect. As you'll see in the LetsGoDigital article, the method is not via an anaglyph as we'd speculated last February, but via parallel viewing - and it seems our Dutch friends found the feature a little tricky in use. Still, it is certainly something most other cameras don't offer!
