Make some money with your favorite photo

Hi-Touch Imaging Technologies - better known as HiTi - has announced a contest offering photographers in the USA to win cash or HiTi photo printers.
The contest is open to anybody over the age of 18 legally residing in the US, and is seeking photos on the topic "American Life Today". Each photographer may submit only one 1600 x 1200 pixel (or larger) photo on the theme, and has until 31st May 2003. HiTi's judges will choose what they feel to be the best 40 photos, and from 6th June 2003 for a period of one month, those photos will be shown on HiTi's site for public voting.
The winning photo will earn a whopping US$2000 in cash, and a second-place prize of US$1000 is also available. Two third-place prizes of a HiTi 640PS Printer, and 5 runner-up prizes of a HiTi 630PL Printer round out the prizes for contestants. An interesting touch is that even if you don't submit a photo, you can still win a prize for voting on the submissions - 3 voters will win a HiTi 630PL Printer.
