Esmann Updates Powerretouche Site, Plug-ins

A redesigned Web site hosts updates to Jan Esmann's existing retouching plug-ins and a few interesting additions.

Powerretouche, Jan Esmann's suite of 17 retouching plug-ins for Macintosh and Windows, has been updated with several new additions, Jan writes.

"I have totally redone the Web site and all plug-ins are improved and the pack expanded with a few new ones. Also the Mac pack is finally complete and up to date.

"Amongst others there is now the (I believe) leading standard for color to B&W conversion with controls for spectral sensitivity curves, presets that emulate professional films, colored lens filters, multigrade emulation, etc.

"The Sharpener is the worlds first and only sharpener, that does not create edgelines.

"The lens corrector even handles Panorama lenses. It has a very different approach from fx. Lens Doc and our filter does not create those much too exploded proportions along the edges after correcting.

"Have a look."

The demos are fully functional but write DEMO on the output. The latest Macintosh demo is PRDemoMac.sit. The latest Windows demo is PRDemoPackage.exe.

For more information about the suite, visit Powerretouche.
