PRESS RELEASE: Photoflex Unveils Consumer-Friendly Web Site

Watsonville, Calif., USA-Photoflex has just overhauled its Web site (www.photoflex.com) to provide an industry-leading amount of customer-friendly information on its lighting products for the photography, digital-imaging, video, and film industries, President Sharon Reeves announced today.

With 10 times more information than its printed catalog, the revitalized Web site displays Photoflex's entire line of products, including softboxes, lights, connectors, reflectors, backdrops, umbrellas, grids, stands, and carrying cases, plus lighting kits for digital, video, and film.

"Unlike our competitors, the Photoflex Web site includes numerous photographs and copy showing real-world applications of our lighting products," Reeves states. "This content presents detailed information on how to improve photographs, videos, and films through Photoflex's innovative and intuitively designed products."

Customers can review product information more easily now, as content is provided for product features and benefits, as well as specifications, components, and step-by-step assembly instructions. Roll-over buttons show practical, creative images of products in use. Links to related products are also provided on each product page.

The Web site Newsroom has been expanded and updated for the benefit of print and electronic media as well as customers. It includes sections for all news releases since 2003, user stories about leading professionals, testimonials from photo and video pros, upcoming trade shows, and future workshops. Company history and fast facts can be found in a separate Our Story section of the Web site.

Another feature of the Web site is a periodic free drawing giving visitors a chance to win selected Photoflex products and tuition to its Web Photo School. Next drawing is Sept. 15, and offers five prizes, including an OctoDome3™ Kit with retail value of $519.95, and a LitePanel™ Kit that retails for $341.95.

The Web site also links to Web Photo School (www.Webphotoschool.com), a Photoflex operating unit that is the world's largest online resource for photography and digital-imaging lessons. Taught by leading professional photographers, it features more than 275 on-line lessons of interest to photographers at any level of the profession.
