PRESS RELEASE: Lexar, Bogen, Quantum, and Dedolight sponsor Web Photo School lessons on retailers' websites

Watsonville, Calif.-Digital-imaging lessons developed by Web Photo School for leading photography retailers' interactive websites are being presented through strategic partnerships with Lexar Media, Bogen Imaging, Quantum Instruments, and Dedolight, WPS Chief Executive Office Gene Kester announced today.

Products made and distributed by these companies appear prominently in digital-imaging lessons created by WPS for customers of major photography retailers such as B&H Photo-Video, Adorama Camera, Glazer's Camera, Penn Camera, and Samy's Camera.

"Strategic partnership with these companies enables Web Photo School to show how many different products are used in digital photography," Kester states. "Photographers of beginning, intermediate, and advanced skills benefit from this instant and practical online learning. Sponsors obtain substantially increased exposure to their brand and product, and retailers benefit from providing their customers with digital-imaging lessons that employ an array of outstanding photographic and digital-imaging equipment."

Web Photo School is the world's largest online resource for photography and digital-imaging lessons for all levels of photographers. Since debuting in 1998, it has welcomed well over five-million visitors.

With a library of more than 200 lessons on its website (www.webphotoschool.com), WPS offers step by step, easy-to-understand information that can be put to use right away. Instruction that used to be possible only face to face, taking months or years of time, can now be learned in just minutes online.

Fifteen lessons are offered free, ranging from shooting portraits, to photographing jewelry for print and the Web, to using strobes and soft lights. Lessons are available on a pay-per-view basis for as little as 99 cents, with monthly memberships $8 and yearly memberships $60. Visitors can always preview any lesson, whether or not they are paid members.
