Pentax updates Optio X firmware

Pentax USA has announced the release of a new version of firmware for the Optio X digital camera.
The Pentax USA website refers users to the company's Japanese website, where the firmware can actually be downloaded. Changes in Optio X firmware version 1.01 include: - Improved auto focus performance.
- A problem when changing the image folder name from standard to date format has been fixed.
The new firmware is applicable to cameras running on version 1.00 firmware, which can be confirmed by turning your camera on while holding down the MENU button.
