PRESS RELEASE: Ink Set for HP Photosmart Printers Using Scalable Printing Technology Released by Ink Technology


CLEVELAND, Ohio -- July 30, 2006 --- A newly formulated set of inks for filling cartridges used in the latest HP Photosmart printers which feature "SPT" Scaleable Printing Technology has been released by Ink Technology Corporation. The inks incorporate a new set of high tech dyes and pigments featuring greatly improved fade resistance and reduced intercolor bleed. They are also capable of producing droplets small enough to go through the printer's tightly packed nozzles, which are spaced at 1200 per inch, without clogging the print heads.

The inks are perfectly matched in color to the original HP brand inks so that users do not have to be concerned with adjusting color profiles when switching from HP inks to Ink Technology inks.

The ink set includes the following items:

#554-DJ02BK Pigment Black - for C8721 Cartridge
#554-DJ02CY Cyan - for C8771 Cartridge
#554-DJ02MA Magenta - for C8771 Cartridge
#554-DJ02YE Yellow - for C8771 Cartridge
#554-DJP02CY Light Cyan - for C8771 Cartridge
#554-DJP02MA Light Magenta - for C8771 Cartridge

The inks are being offered in bulk to cartridge manufacturers, refill kit producers, and cartridge refillers.

Ink Technology will be featuring these and other new inks at the Recharger World Expo in Las Vegas at booth #2412 August 23rd thru August 25th, 2006.
