Photokina Special: It's a Wrap!

We've got a behind-the-scenes Web gallery and another of our floor shots over the week to round out our coverage of photokina 2006.
It's been quite a week in Cologne, Germany, for the Imaging Resource video crew of Andrew Alexander and Shawn Barnett, not to mention your newsletter editor.
Their YouTube videos are, unfortunately, greatly compressed from the detailed originals but, fortunately, that makes them accessible to more viewers. And with 16 available and more coming (perhaps as many as 20 all together), the fun isn't quite over.
But it is over for your newsletter editor, as we post two last Web galleries. The first is a behind the scenes look at our video crew in action. The second is some of our favorite shots from the floor. We would have liked to have written about everything you see there but our batteries tended to fail about 3:00 a.m. Fortunately a four hour charge was all we needed to hit the floor again.

Now we're going to take the tram to the first public park we see, stroll over to the closest bench and take a little snooze with the newspaper over our face. For some things, traditional media just can't be beat.
